Agni-II missile successfully test-fired today
The medium range nuclear capable Agni-II missile was today successfully test-fired from the Wheeler Island off Odisha coast. Defence sources said, the trial of the surface-to-surface missile was conducted from a mobile launcher from the Launch Complex-4 of Integrated Test Range (ITR) at around 10.20 am.
The two-stage missile, equipped with advanced high accuracy navigation system and guided by a novel scheme of state of the art command and control system was propelled by solid rocket propellant system.
The 20-metre long Agni-II is a two-stage, solid-propelled ballistic missile with a strike range of more than 2,000 km.

High blood pressure also known as raised blood pressure or hypertension increases the risk of heart attacks, strokes and kidney failure. The ultimate goal of World Health Day 2013 is to reduce heart attacks and strokes.
According to the World Health Organisation, High Blood Pressure affects one in three adults worldwide and leads to more than nine million deaths globally every year.

Inflation, corruption, black money main issues in General Election: BJP

BJP has said that inflation, corruption and black money will be the main issues in the General Election. The National Office Bearers of the party today met in the national capital to discuss the BJP's future programme and action plan.
Briefing reporters about the meeting, party spokesperson Prakah Javdekar said BJP President Rajnath Singh told the Office Bearers that party is ready to face election any time. Mr. Singh alleged that UPA government has failed to control inflation and corruption in the country.
The meeting was attended by senior BJP leader, L K Advani, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj, her Rajya Sabha counterpart Arun Jaitley, central office-bearers and presidents and general secretaries of the state units.
