The BJP today demanded that Law Minister Ashwani Kumar and Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal be sacked immediately and the illegal acts committed by them, be investigated. Briefing the media in New Delhi, senior party leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the CBI affidavit raises very serious questions about the entire functioning of the government.
The CBI Affidavit clearly discloses there was a conscious attempt to weaken the import of the status report so that the decision making process may not be shown under a serious clout before the Supreme Court in the status report
The Congress however said that the demand for the resignation of Ashwani Kumar and Pawan Kumar Bansal is premature. The party spokesperson Renuka Chowdhary told media that there is need to wait to get more information
We need to wait till we can ascertain certain facts after that decisions will be taken. But prematurely to jump the gun it is not judicious.
